Call for Abstracts:
Abstracts are being solicited for contributed Oral and Poster presentations at the 29th Southern Biomedical Engineering Conference in Miami, Florida. Abstracts related to Biomedical Engineering and related research and education will be considered. The Keywords list can help guide your submission.  Submission of a 2-page Extended Abstract  is optional.  One or more authors of the Abstract must be registered for the conference by the early registration deadline for inclusion in the Program book and the Proceedings.

February 15, 2013: Notification of acceptance

Submission guidelines:

Abstracts:

The 200 word short abstract  must be submitted online using the submission portal. The paragraph content should include an Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion and Conclusion. Subheadings, figures, tables and references should not be included.

Optional Extended Abstract:

A 2 page extended abstract can be submitted using the provided template. Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion are required. Figures/Tables and references can be included. The extended abstract will be reviewed and published in the Proceedings of the Conference. The guidelines in the template must be followed strictly for approval. [Download template]
